20 grams of White Lily (Nymphaea alba)

Use of White Lily

Make a tea: use 5 grams of the Nymphaea alba for 1 cup. Let it steep for 10-15 minutes.

Add to wine: use 5 grams of Nymphaea alba for 1 bottle (750ml) of wine. Don’t use more, because the Lily makes the wine very bitter.

White lily is both narcotic and euphoric. It's said to increase sexual arousal and enjoyment. Because it contains the psychoactive compounds nupharine and nymphaeine.

History

The White Lotus, White Water Rose, or White Water Lily, is an aquatic flower plant. It is known as a sedative. In traditional herbal medicine, it were mostly the roots and stalks that were used, in combination with the flower.

The most potent parts of the plant are the petals and the other parts of the flower. It is very common to use the flower in combination with alcohol. The alcohol allows for the alkaloids in the plant to be extracted, and also to induce the sedative properties. The lily contains both Nupharine and Nymphaeine. These can give a euphoric, sedative and narcotic effects.

The White Lily is known as both aphrodisiac and as anaphrodisiac . Nuns and monks are known to have consumed the flower, crushed and mixed with wine. But there are many other sources claiming that the the Nymphaea Alba is actually working as a nice aphrodisiac.
