The Psilocybe atlantis magic truffle is closely related to the Psilocybe mexicana magic truffle. However, mycologists have proven that they are separate species. The mushrooms of P. atlantis are also known as Atlantis Liberty Caps and have been found in the grasslands of Fulton County, Georgia in the United States.
Atlantis truffles are also known as Atlanta Liberty Caps, Sclerotia, Triprocks, Philosopher's Stones (although this is actually P. tampanensis) and Númenórian XTC. Atlantis truffles are considered to be the most potent truffles because of the high levels of psilocin and psilocybin found in tests on all truffle-forming species.

Magic Truffle storage and preservation
Always store Magic Truffles in the refrigerator (2-4°C) in a closed (vacuum sealed) pack. When stored in this way, you can keep the truffles until the expiry date. After breaking the vacuum seal, the truffles can be kept for up to 2 days without losing their potency.
Effects of Magic Truffles
The active ingredients in Magic Truffles are psilocin and psilocybin. The human body easily absorbs both compounds, which are responsible for the psychoactive effects of Magic Truffles. Read more about psilocin and psilocybin.
In low doses, eating Magic Truffles can make you feel giggly and stoned. In this state, it is still easy to communicate, and you are still aware of your surroundings. In higher doses, Magic Truffles alter reality and can cause hallucinations..
The first effects of Magic Truffles can be felt 30 minutes (or sometimes as little as 10 minutes) after ingestion. These effects may include (but are not limited to) sweaty palms, sighing, cold shivers, a feeling of restlessness and nausea. As the effects intensify, the trip moves towards euphoria and happiness, but feelings of anxiety may also occur. Visions, hallucinations and deep connections with other psychonauts are possible effects.
After an hour, the effects of Magic Truffles usually stop increasing and become more stable. Depending on the amount taken, they generally last between 3 and 5 hours. After this time, it takes about 1 to 2 hours for the effects to fade. This fading often occurs in waves, suggesting that the trip is coming to an end before the effects return. For this reason, plan your trip well and make sure you have nothing else to do on the day you take Truffles.
During the first hour of your trip you may feel nauseous or sick. This usually passes as the effects of the Magic Truffle intensify.
What you see and feel during a Magic Truffle trip depends very much on your state of mind and the setting of your trip. Your state of mind in the days leading up to the trip and the environment of the place you are going to have a direct impact on your experience. A busy and demanding week may result in a slightly anxious and stressful trip, or it may end with new insights and energy.
In summary, only use Magic Truffles when you feel mentally balanced and relaxed. Only take Magic Truffles in a familiar or quiet place, preferably with people you know and trust. There is nothing more frustrating than people arguing while you are tripping.

Dosage of Magic Truffles
tlantis Truffles are known to be strong truffles. In small doses they are suitable for beginners.
- For a microdose, take 0.2 - 0.5 grams of Magic Truffles per person.
- For a mild trip, take 5-7 grams of Magic Truffles per person.
- For a strong trip, take 10 grams of Magic Truffles per person.
- For an overwhelming trip, take 15 grams of Magic Truffles per person.
Using Magic Truffles
Eat Magic Truffles raw. For best effects, take on an empty stomach. Make sure you eat your last meal at least 2-4 hours before your trip. We recommend avoiding caffeinated drinks.
Chew your truffles well, this will help your body absorb the psychoactive compounds and reduce nausea.
Don't like the taste of Magic Truffles? Eat them with a handful of nuts, some tea or in soup to mask the flavour. Never boil the truffles as this will affect their potency!

Trivia
A truffle or sclerotium is a living product. It is possible that air (gasses) (especially CO²) may be trapped inside the packaging. This will cause the sclerotia to continue to grow and white "hairs" will appear on the outside of the truffles. This is the mycelium and shows that the truffle is healthy. This is edible and doesn't affect the trip.

Although I am reviewing the Atlantis, I'm not really sure - I ordered 3 different types (Atlantis, Hollandia, Hawaiian)and my one quibble is, that they were marked with scribbled (to me, unreadable) letters in felt pen, so I never really knew which of the 3 I was taking. I did complain about this via email and in all fairness, I received a reply very quickly offering me to send photos of the packets so the seller could tell me which was which.Rating
One thing that fellow mushroom buyers should really pay attention to, is that the sellers absolutely know what they are talking about when they describe the strength of the various strains and give advice which types are best for experienced trippers. Beginners should pay heed to this advice. I had not used MM for 20 years and my only previous experience was with fresh mushrooms picked from cow dung - they made me super energetic and euphoric but the experience was only slightly psychedelic. The truffles I ordered were too strong for me and my next order will be for the Tampanensis or Mexicana A, for a milder trip, but I look forward to the stronger strains when I'm ready. 6 months ago I have last been on a trip so they bought with a Golden teacher grow kit so I could get a trip before they grew up.Rating
I took them the first Saturday after arrival. Took a light morning meal 4 hours before they were eaten. Thicked them well so they blended well with my regret. took about 15 minutes for me to eat them. I was waiting for a trip, but the only thing I felt was a little turmoil in my stomach. Truffles arrived with no storage suggestions. They went mouldy quickly and were unusable. Company informed me they should have been refrigerated and take a running hike as they were unwilling to replace them. Surely a sticker on the bag stating refrigeration was necessary is not a big deal.Rating

My experience with the Atlantis Truffles was at home, alone.
Effects began after 45 minutes and the trip lasted about 3 hours 3 minutes.
First part was made of funny thoughts and visual distortions, objects seemed animated by their own breathing
Second part of the trip, I decided I would stay most of the time in my bed, and meditate while listening to electronic music in a dark room. This part was very surprising, with audio-energetic waves running through my body ! A very pleasant sensation: I didn't want to move, but the music wanted to move me :)
Third part was very psychological: I decided to watch myself in a mirror... WOW fascinating, so weird, my face was morphing constantly, expressing and cycling through all human emotions : craziness, joy, fear, happiness, perplexity, kindness...
One of the best experience in my life.

It was first time i was ordering by this site. I sent cash by post.My letter spent 7 days to arrive nederlands,..its far too much! still we are neighboors, . Since they received the payment i received my truffes in my mail box only 2 days after. So its very quick and safe. they enven gave me my 5cents money back. impresselively pleased :) the truffes are fresh and good quality, this one is quite big , brown with some pieces green so its normal dont panic its their color. I take the full package. I ate others truffes the days before... so i was not ecpecting big effects... yet effects were still pleasant, i had big laugh with my friends and dancing for nothing sometimes , no big visual this time. but fun. effects lasted 3 4 hours. no down. I got the truffles on the day expected, but had to put them in the fridge since I had one more day of exams then the weekend.
When the day finally came to try them out, man oh man, that was some crazy shit right there. I remember being with a friend, it was my first time so he wanted to stay sober and watch over me and make sure I'm safe (as recommended on the instructions page).
Anyways, at first I got a little giggly, feeling a little euphoric, but in no time I was feeling just ecstatic and my friend put a crazy shrooms playlist, I was looking out my living room window that was wide open just looking at the trees and clouds, birds flying, it was all astonishing. My favorite part was my peak, I kept looking at this building and I'd see it like if I were looking in an upside down mirror, it was really trippy, and the clouds were pink, not white, which was also crazy. The down wasn't so nice, but I didn't expect it to be, I mean going from so euphoric to nothing isn't gna be amazing. Oh by the way, I had only taken 10 grams. Next time though, I'll be sure to take 15 grams all to myself, and have 15 grams for my friend. This was all really nice. Really do recommend. Just please, for your sake, if this is your first time, don't do it with random people in random places, you really don't get how much this can affect your trip.
