Low Value, but a good trip.

Everything from shipping to setting up was easy and this wasn't my first kit either so I didn't pay to much attention to the manuals around since I knew what to do.

But for some reason my kit only gave the initial flush and died after that, I got 51 grams of fresh mushrooms which in my opinion is way to little.

I shared the fresh mushies with a friend and we watched 21 jump street and his words on the movie was "This movie.. is made for us!" A really good trip and we had time to chill in the yard and watch the clouds but again... first flush and kit died, little disappointing. Review by Emil (Posted on 7/21/2012)

Must admit at first I was sceptical. 22 Days had gone by and not a single mushroom. Sent customer services an e-mail, to which I got an immediate reply with various tips. 5 star customer service!

As I got home to try the tips, I had 3 little mushrooms starting to grow. Once picked, as per recommendations, I started a new 12hrs soak and the results have been amazing.

I have picked what I have to say are the biggest mushrooms I have every seen. The head being practically the size of my hand! Huge! 4 now, 4 in a couple of days, and allot more on their way!

Good shipping, good trip, unfortunately very low yield

First off.. Thank you very much for this glorious company!

Now for the review.. Shipping was problemfree, kit was completely intact as far as I could tell.

Growing was/is wierd though.. I followed the procedure step by step, but the kit wasn't pinning until day nr. 13., and stopped producing after 21 days. This produced 100grams of fresh and lovely shrooms.
Little wierd with the prolonged timeline, but I was happy with 100, being that it was flush nr. 1, and my first time growing (have been tripping on mushrooms for 6 years).
But now I am on day 18, off the 2. flush and it produced from day 8 till 13. This gave 40 fresh grams, and has still not produced more.
I can't figure out why the 2. flush isn't significantly bigger that flush nr. 1.
I will let it sit for three more days, and if it isn't pinning again, I will dunk the kit for the 3 time, and hope that it has not died..
No mold, no flaws in my proceedure, as far as I can tell by looking here and in various forums.

Net mijn eerste flush gehad: 45 mexicaantjes! De bak stond helemaal vol. Het is nu winter en maar met de warmtemat bleef het goed op temperatuur. Ik hoefde alleen maar water toe te voegen.

Would deffinately recommend this kit. The heat mat speeds things along nicely. I ordered the B+ box and the first flush was ready in about 2 weeks.
First flush was about 16g dried, and 2nd flush is well on its way.

I will start with progress. I completed the initial flush last Sunday as instructions stated. My box is now starting to pin with about 15 1cm tall mushrooms. Excitement barely covers it, very much looking forward to this weekend. When I shall hopefully harvest, dry and then consume =) I shall then update my review with respects to a description of the high (the main things we're interested in).

With regards to Customer Service 5*. Delivery was prompt
With regards to what's in the box:
The alcohol gel, gloves and mask and undoubtedly useful. And overall it is incredibly simple to set-up, even mushrooms themselves could do it.
The only criticism I have so far of the kit and whole experience is the heating mat seems a bit small and I notice it is originally meant for a vivarium. That said it stays at a constant temperature, however I'm never sure where to put it, placing underneath the box and bag leads to the bottom of the tub getting a bit too warm as does it's placement around the box. Next time I think I shall make my own heater. It's still exceptionally good value for money and I do suppose, with regards to the heater, you get what you pay for.
