Instructions for the different magic mushroom grow kits:
To start up the different types of mushroom grow kits you need to use the right instructions for the right kit.
Getmagic Grow kit instructions This is the box with the orange sticker with 'GM'
Mondo Grow kit Instructions This is the kit that comes without a carboard box.
FreshMushrooms grow kit Instructions This is the box with the green sticker saying ' FM'
Optionally you may want include three thermo mats for the colder times of the year. These mats will steady and optimize the temperature in your grow kit
A Get Magic Mushroom grow kit contains:
- 1x grow box – This contains substrate with active mycelium (the cake)
- 1x grow bag – The bag has a micron filter to keep contaminants out
- 2x Paperclips– For closing the grow bag.
A Mondo Magic Mushroom grow kit contains:
- 1x grow box – This contains substrate with active mycelium (the cake)
- 1x grow bag – The bag has a micron filter to keep contaminants out with a resealable sticker
A FreshMushroom Magic Mushroom grow kit contains:
- 1x FreshMushroom grow box – This contains substrate with active mycelium (the cake)
- 1x Growbag – The bag has 2 layers of punched holes for ventilation.
- 2x paperclip – For closing the grow bag.
You need
- Misting Bottle – Misting is needed for the humidity level
- Potable water – For misting and soaking
- Clean environment – Work clean to give other fungi and bacteria (micro organisms) no chance to contaminate.

All in all, it's a great deal!Rating
From two of the three boxes, I was able to repeatedly achieve good yields. But unfortunately only from two of them! The third ('fresh mushrooms') grew the first time as the latest and had only one comparatively very small yield. In the second round, the third box was then covered with yellowish mold and was no longer usable.
I've set up a box of 'fresh mushrooms' before, which has had exactly the same result - little yield and yellow mold to follow!

I've used the Mondo kit before and it didn't disappoint this time round — a cracking first flush (over 150g fresh from a normal size kit) and the second looks set to produce loads too. The FreshMushrooms kit took longer to get going than advertised; it is growing now (big boys too), but not that many. We'll see. The GetMagic kit is taking ages, though and I'm worried I might have done something wrong. Still the instructions say it can take it's time, so, again, we'll see. Great Choice for exploring the multiple strain and kits variety! Mckennai grow in a fantastic rate and they give you a great high! Same thing for the Camboja ones! Highly reccomend it! The Fresh Mushroom kit is also a nice experience and I'd say it's even easier than the Mondo Kits. The Mexican Mushrooms grew way faster and barely require any attention. I ordered one Mondo B+, one Mondo Amazonian and a FreshMushrooms McKenaii grow kit.Rating
Delivery was pretty fast and unproblematic, instructions provided on website were also very clear and useful!
Even though I kept all three grow kits under the exact same conditions, only one of them - the Mondo Amazonian - survived and brought several very nice flushes (5 flushes if I’m not mistaken!). The yield of the first two ones were pretty satisfying, then decreased. The effect when taking them has been super enjoyable and calming so far, even though I just micro-dosed until now.
My rating is three stars because I’m pretty satisfied with the one kit that worked out and tbh I didn’t contact customer service earlier to report the problem because I was hoping the other kits were just a bit slower and would eventually grow - well nope. I would still order again in the future, maybe I just had bad luck with the other two ones. (Posted on 5/5/2022)
