I received the normal kit as a replacement for the XL one which turned out to be dead. This one started a little better but in the end provided no mushrooms at all. Same conditions as McKennaii and B+ kits I've been using and those two gave plenty of shrooms. Maybe it's a bad batch or just bad luck, but I'll be avoiding these for now. I have had multiple GT kits ordered so far. After carefully following instructions and long care, every single one eventually failed to grow any mushrooms. Although the customer service is usually kind enough to send a replacement, it usually ends the same way. I gave up at some point. Never had problems with other strains from the shop, only GT. I ordered one kit of Mckennaii and one kit of Golden Teacher. I followed the exact instructions for both of them and I was very careful. I already got 2 flushes on Mckennaii after 4 weeks, but the Golden Teacher kit gives no signs and I am disappointed about it.Rating
I also sent 2 emails to denounce the problem, but I got no responde back about this and that's not nice

First pins appeared on the 16th day. The first flush gave 96gr (8 dry) and the second flush yielded 81 gr. Very good potency. Now waiting for a third flush. The customer support was always fast and helpful throughout the whole process whenever I had questions. Overall the kit and the shop gave great experience. (Posted on 4/28/2021)Rating - Hard to say

The customer service people bare helpful and knowledgeable as always. So far I do not have many mushrooms after a month or so. Some small pins appeared about 10 days ago, but they stopped growing. Yesterday the guys advised me to give it a cold shock to try and kick start it, so fingers crossed it will start today.
I have found the team to be great and have had great success with two of the 5 boxes I have tried. I want to make it a 3/5, so fingers crossed this one gets moving. I had some problems with two boxes before (other varieties, but the team replaces them swiftly with no problems, I just hope they have a better hit rate elsewhere or else they have a problem in their business, but when they work, they are great kits. Things are quite variable. I had two small kits provide over 600g fresh each (Amazon and B+) I had a Mexican that grew only two mushrooms and stopped and a MCKaennai that only grew a few long spindly pins and produced very few. I really want this Golden Teacher to come on and grow now, it will be the one that decides whether to order from them again in future. The team are great, but if the product is going to be so variable, it's hard to put their staff and myself through the 50/50 bet that it has been so far. I give a 4 because the service is great and the product is great when it works, and maybe I have done something wrong, although if I have, nobody can say what it is and my temp control and other conditions have been very well controlled . If this one doesn't grow either though, I will have to seek out a more reliable source. (Posted on 2/27/2021) - luminus but be carreful to wash your hand
