New Book Explains Marijuana Laws For Every U.S. State

.

.

Do you live in the USA?  Do you know what the marijuana laws are in your state?  It's probably a good idea to know, specially if you enjoy marijuana.  Did you know that in Colorado you can legally light up a joint but in Kansas, you could face felony charges and jail simply for possession?

This is where Paul Armentano's book comes in handy.  He as compile everything you need to know about marijuana and it's legal status.  The book is :  The Citizen’s Guide to State-By-State Marijuana Laws.

It's a great book to ensure that you don't become a victim of your state's legal system due to ignorance of the laws that govern cannabis.   And this is a good thing when you think that over 25 million Americans have been arrested for marijuana offences since 1965.

“In the last year for which federal data is available, police made over 693,000 marijuana-related arrests,” Armentano writes in the book. “That’s 1,900 pot arrests per day. More than 80 percent of those arrested for marijuana violations are charged with minor possession only.

''The Citizen’s Guide to State-By-State Marijuana Laws is still the unfortunate but necessary companion for the millions of American cannabis consumers and medical patients greatly looking forward to an end to the national prohibition of the noble herb and its concoctions.” (Allen St. Pierre NORML Executive director)

Groundbreaking Research: Cannabis Treats ADHD Better Than Adderall

.

.

We have been hearing it for a while now, and every year, stronger than ever.  The medical uses of marijuana are countless, it can be used to treat a number or ailments, chronic and short term.

It appears that the treatment of ADHD with medicinal cannabis is groundbreaking.   A new medical study of 30 patients with ADHD reported that all of them improved concentration and sleep as well as reduced impulsivity.  For these same patients, Ritalin and Adderall (the conventional way to treat ADHD) did not work so well.

So how does the cannabis treat ADHD?  It appears to increase the availability of dopamine, it corrects the shortages in the brain.

Psilocybin Could Cure Alcoholism

 .

.

It seems that psilocybin is a wonder drug that could cure or ease suffering for many illnesses, at least that is what many studies are finding, the only thing stopping research to go further and faster  is usually the impediments drug related legislation imposes on psilocybin.

In one of the latest studies by the New Mexico School of Medicine have found evidence that proves the psychedelic fungus known as psilocybin could positively impact the treatment of alcoholism.

This study is not the first one to detect this potential in psilocybin, scientists have believed for decades that psychedelic drugs could be a potential solution to alleviate the alcoholic mind.

Feel Your Sh*t!

.

.

We really enjoyed this article!  How many times have you been told that feeling like shit is bad for you?  Society teaches us to repress this feeling, tagging it as negative, bad for you.

This article from the Elephant journal looks at the ''Feeling like Shit'' feeling with a total different angle and approach.  What if feeling like shit was actually good for you?

The author's approach is that it can actually teach you what you NEED to know, not necessarily what you WANT to know.

Why hold on to your grudge until it explodes?  Honor your shit today and your loved ones will thank you tomorrow.

Embracing our darkest days as much as our most brilliant might just the the beginning of something amazing.  It is okay not to always feel good, we are all human and most important of all : ''To truly be there for another, you need to be there for yourself at all times—the good, the bad and the downright shittiest of days''.

Social Media is so awesome!  It reveals the best, the worst and the most stupid  human beings are capable of.   For some of us it's pure common sense: what ever you put up about yourself on social media or online is public, it will be seen by pretty much anyone, so might as well carefully select what you put up, you know, actively work on your personal brand, portraying only the positive and for Fucks Sake, the LEGAL!

Three days before being arrested with four other cops for allegedly attempting to resell 25 kilos of seized cocaine to Bolivian drug traffickers, Chávez posted a photograph of himself on his Facebook page sitting in an armchair surrounded by wads of what appear to be $100 bills.

The post is captioned "Small change for the weekend."
