.How to Have a Mindful Conversation
.
.
Mindful conversations are important, especially when it comes to our relationship with others, our closest relationships, telling the truth is key.
The truth in this article does not refer to the absence of lying but the big 'T' truth, the truth of our present moment experience.
We lie (and omit and project onto others) about the only three things we have at our disposal during communication with others:
- Our bodies (sensations and emotions)
- Our thoughts,
- and what what’s most important to us to feel whole, intact, and like our lives are on track: our core values or needs.
How can we work on this and let our truth speak?
The author offers Mindfulness as a solution along with a 9 point Mindfulness practice to grab the truth and letting go of being right when interacting with others.
There is also an very interesting TED Talk ''The art of meaningful conversation'' we would like to offer to our readers.

The Psychedelic Colouring Book
.
.
We would like to present this very interesting project by Jessica Legon: The Psychedelic Colouring Book she created to continue the conversation around Psychedelics surrounded by an art extravaganza!
Jessica has posted her project on Kickstarter and is presently looking for people to support this project. Pledges start at 1 pound, so there are no excuses!
The important thing about this coloring book is that it contains information on the main psychedelic substances including effects, safety profiles, dosage and advice.
The purpose of this is to de-stigmatise psychedelics as a dangerous party drug and to continue the conversation surrounded by art, acknowledging that giving people the facts both positive and negative will help them make the right choices for themselves and keep people safer in this black market world.
Let's help Jessica fund this interesting project!

Study finds that alcohol is worse for mental health than psychedelics
.
.
What if we told you that many psychedelic drugs are not the danger the profit-driven media had portrayed them to be, that often, they are one of the greatest medicines to overcome addiction. and other psychological problems?
This is quite apparent today as information about psychedelic drugs and different research conducted by prestigious universities is now thoroughly available.
For instance, A study by the Research Council of Norway has concluded that psychedelics do not link to mental health problems or suicidal behavior. Another study of roughly 130,000 adult citizens in the United States found no “evidence that psychedelic use is an independent risk factor for mental health problems.”
But guess what? According to the US National Library of Medicine, “Alcohol abuse may lead to suicidality through disinhibition, impulsiveness and impaired judgment, but it may also be used as a means to ease the distress associated with committing an act of suicide.”
