What are magic mushroom spores ?
All gilled funghi, like the psilocybe cubensis mushrooms, are members of the class Basidiomycetes. They are characterized by the production of spores on club-shaped appendages called basidia. Spores born on basidia are called basidiospores. Spores are the microscopic ' seeds' of the mushroom, they are hidden until maturity by the veil, or membrane attaching the cap to the stem of the mushroom. When the veil breaks from the mushroom the spores drop. The spores form to mycelium and the mycelium fruits mushrooms. The psilocybe cubensis mushrooms is the easiest to grow from spores.

Other Psilocybe spores and magic truffle spores
The psilocybe Mexicana, psilocybe Tampanensis and the psilocybe Gallendoii/Atlantis are the three non cubensis spores. These spores are famous for growing magic mushrooms as well as magic truffles.
All know magic truffles are grown from the Mexicanae , Tampanensis, Atlantis (At#7) or Galenndoii strains. The spore vials containing these strains are selected for their good sclerotia growing. A good casing layer is needed to let these strains fruit mushrooms on their substrate.
Panaeolus cyanescens spores
The panaeolus cyanescens species available in spore vials are the Goliath Copelandia and the Jamaica strain. Both very potent mushrooms that are worth the challenge to grow them. Both the Cyanescens and the Copelandia are wood and dung loving mushrooms make sure to give them enough air and humidity to grow.
